There are many monarchs that I have learned about this year including Suleiman I, Akbar, Philip II, Peter the Great, Louis XIV all were absolute monarch's that had total controll over their society. However, the absolute monarch I can relate to is Akbar. Akbar ruled Mughal India. He had tolerance to him empire by marrying Hindu princess and not making them convert to his religion, also by abolishing the tax on Hindu pilgrims and the hated Jaza. Akbar's taxes were very suscessful during his time of power. He made his taxes affortable so that peasnts can pay, they worrent to high, and he raised income tax. Mughal India was diverse and the effects of this cultural blending affected art, education, politics, and language. Common people spoke Hindi-the common language created a new language. The similarities between myself and Akbar are that we both have religious tolerance toward any religion.  Both of us don't matter what religion you come from, and we won't make you convert. I would also lower taxes and make them more affortable so the less fortuniate can afford to pay them
