There are many monarchs that I have learned about this year including Suleiman I, Akbar, Philip II, Peter the Great, Louis XIV all were absolute monarch's that had total controll over their society. However, the absolute monarch I can relate to is Akbar. Akbar ruled Mughal India. He had tolerance to him empire by marrying Hindu princess and not making them convert to his religion, also by abolishing the tax on Hindu pilgrims and the hated Jaza. Akbar's taxes were very suscessful during his time of power. He made his taxes affortable so that peasnts can pay, they worrent to high, and he raised income tax. Mughal India was diverse and the effects of this cultural blending affected art, education, politics, and language. Common people spoke Hindi-the common language created a new language. The similarities between myself and Akbar are that we both have religious tolerance toward any religion. Both of us don't matter what religion you come from, and we won't make you convert. I would also lower taxes and make them more affortable so the less fortuniate can afford to pay them

An absolute monarch is a person who has absolute and total controll of a society. The country that I rule is known as Spain. I do believe that God has chosen me to be his representative on Earth. Although i do take critism well, too much of it can overwelm me. If it is constantly about the same thing, by the same person I will say something back. My religion is Christanity. I will allow other I choose the quote "To understand the nature of the people one muct be a prince, and to understand the nature of the people."- Machiavelli. I choose this quote because people need to know that you understand there feelings. If you are a ruler and you don't care about the people in your country than you will never be like by the people that you rule. However, if you understand the emotions and how the people feel and what the people want than you will be liked by the people; not feared. The people must also understand the how difficult it is to be the Monarch. I choose a Snuffaluffagus as a symbol to me because it is a unique, one of a kind, fierce animal.
